    Hi Richard,
Thanks for the link to the comparison. It was worth watching. We have been operating the Wii system at Selwyn Ridge in a couple of classrooms for the last couple of terms. We feel that we are still developing a good picture of the positives and minus of interactive boards and would enjoy hearing how others are actually using the technology to enhance learning. We have also come up with a much simpler pen (although construction your own is fun), using already on the market LED torches.

I will be interested to see how you go with your wii board.

    Hi Marcus

I will let you know how we go withe the wiimote board. We have 12 Smartboards here already but can’t relly justify any more where as this seems like a realistic option for some of the other staff that would like some of the functionality.

Sorry I missed yr connection this afternoon. Wiimote is very cool.

Also can you show me the iTouch remote at ULearn- added functionality to my new toy- sounds cool.

    Hi,

I think it’s worth trying out Smoothboard where BoonJin has modified Johnny Lee’s idea to a more user-friendly wiimote whiteboard, featuring annotation features and autoconnect mode.
