So it is that I come to the last day of the family holiday in Onemana. It has been ten days of swimming, nine long runs and the odd afternoon snooze. But alas tomorrow back to reaility.

I am looking forward to 2009 as I return to the classroom. I will only be a part time ICT facilitator at Katikati College while Phil does some of the work and Toni picks up at Matamata.

I will be teaching Year Eleven History junior Social Studies and a year Twelve/ Thirteen ICT class. I look forward to using many of the skillsl I have demonstrated to other teachers over the last two years with my own classes. It will be interesting to see how I go with the day to day business of teaching after having really seen a lot of external change over the past two years but still very little in the way of school curriculum.

But I am sure you will continue to see interesting things coming out of the katmat cluster and in a twist, every class I am teaching in this year since I don’t have one of my own has a smartboard. Oh where to use my beloved wiimote.
